Ocean Drive is about to be taken over by runners in Halloween costumes! 🎃
The Halloween Half Marathon and Freaky 4-Miler returns October 24th, starting and finishing at 7th and Ocean.
Costumes are optional, but most people go all out, and every finisher gets a Halloween-themed medal!
You don’t have to be a serious runner to join in, either!
The 4-miler is walker-friendly and open to all fitness levels, starting right after the 6:30 AM half marathon. 🏃♀️
For the little ones, the Trick-or-Treat Dash starts at 10 AM for kids ages 2 to 9, complete with their own medal and race shirt. Just make sure to register ahead of time!
Miami Beach residents get 50% off registration, and if you’re not racing, plan ahead for closures along Ocean Drive that morning. 👻

Hey South Beach! Ocean Drive is about to be taken over by runners dressed up in Halloween costumes. If you're new here, my name is Amara, and I do video marketing for small businesses, and I keep up with all things South Beach so you don't have to.
The Halloween Half Marathon and Freaky 4-Miler is back on October 24th. It starts and finishes at 7th and Ocean. Now, costumes aren't required, but most people tend to go all out, and every finisher gets a Halloween-themed medal. You also don't have to be a serious runner to participate. The 4-Miler is walker-friendly and all fitness levels are welcome. The half marathon kicks off at 6:30 AM, and then the 4-Miler is right after.
And if you have little ones, there's also a Trick-or-Treat Dash. That one starts at 10:00 AM and it's for kids ages two to nine. They get their own medal and race shirt, but you do have to register ahead of time. And as a Miami Beach resident, you get 50% off your registration.
