Matthieu Bettant is a fourth-generation baker who runs this South Beach bakery with his wife Miriam. The Bettant family has been baking since 1935 in France, and both Matthieu and Miriam trained at the renowned Institut Paul Bocuse before opening here. They bring their family's tradition of French baking to the neighborhood.

The bakery makes croissants from French flour using traditional techniques, along with French pastries and breads made with the finest ingredients they can source. Their croissants have earned recognition for their quality and authenticity. They also serve locally roasted artisanal coffee.

Located on Washington Avenue in the heart of South Beach's entertainment district, the Art Deco storefront sits in a building that has served the neighborhood for decades. It is a warm, unpretentious spot where the focus is on the craft of baking and the care that goes into each item.
